Campaign Strategy
Role: Strategist, Photo & Video Shoot Coordinator, Lead Copywriter, Perfumier, Lead Merchandise Coordinator THE PROJECTMy team's mission was simple: leave an impression at the biggest payment industry trade show of the season. We landed on making our own signature cologne, birthing the eau de parfum and campaign named Lunch Break. I worked with a local perfume shop, Lotions and Potions, to build the perfect scent. It was a difficult solo job—scent is subjective, so I spent hours at the shop (spread across a few visits) making sure I was crafting something neutral enough, but still distinct. At the same time, I dug deep to find the right manufacturer for our product. Once I did it was off to the races. My team and I filled the EDP bottles and samples ourselves. I had to create a character to be the face of the campaign, and I settled on "Tyler Riviera"—leisure ambassador and nomad of Earth. I styled Tyler, and his photo and video shoots. It was a blast. The last stretch of this campaign was making sure the copy really captured the essence of both the eau de parfum and Tyler himself, and the end result was extraordinary. CAMPAIGN HIGHLIGHTS
CAMPAIGN EMAILS
THE RESULT The emails for this campaign averaged a 56% open rate and an 18% click-through rate. On LinkedIn, our Lunch Break posts saw a 230% increase in comments and a 26% increase in reactions. We won “best swag” at MWAA, and to my relief, people were raving about its scent. The best part: three new agents were signed to PayCompass because "Tyler" brought them back to our booth. That’s a huge ROI; as just one agent can generate hundreds of thousands of dollars in annual revenue.
Role: Lead Strategist, Lead Designer, Lead Editor & CopywriterTHE PROJECT At PayCompass, we wanted to show off our agents as much as we could, and I wanted to reflect that sentiment more in our social strategy. I conceptualized a new segment, Batched Out—a Rolling Stone style interview laid out to be casual conversations with agents about their lives.I sat with agents for an hour, listened to their stories, their triumphs, their struggles. And that's exactly what I wanted to showcase: an unfiltered look at the powerful lessons they learned along the way. When it came to copy, I made sure I captured the agent's spirit, not just their words. Including bits about their mannerisms and disposition made all the difference. The real challenge was cutting it down into three slides of content. I walked through my notes and interview pages to steep out the highlights, honing in on what made each agent shine. Design-wise, I really wanted to it to have that editorial-feel and pose our agents like rockstars. What can I say, I love the movie Almost Famous, and it certainly made this segment inspired.
Role: Strategist, Lead Copywriter, Photo & Video Shoot Coordinator, Merchandise Coordinator THE PROJECT A trade show in Miami naturally calls for Miami Vice references...but my team and I had to ask ourselves: how do we put our on twist on it? We brainstormed a way to make this campaign feel original, while also promoting our in-house prospecting app, Genie. The solution was to create everything from scratch and make it feel like its own hot TV show. And just like that, Valley Heat was born. The characters and production had to feel true to the 80's, and I graced our dynamic cop duo with the names "Dominic Rourke" and "Roman Vega". Once I had those set, the character and universe building began. I made sure we had the right outfits, props, and locations. While our content lead and videographer got to work, I was perfecting the emails to give them that neon charm. My favorite part of this campaign was crafting its soundtrack (that you can listen to here!), accompanied by cassette tapes that I sourced and put together to give away at our booth.CAMPAIGN HIGHLIGHTS CAMPAIGN EMAIL COPY THE RESULT By the end of this campaign, 94% of PayCompass Agents were actively using the Genie app. It also made a splash on socials, with LinkedIn being the most remarkable jump: a 72% increase in reactions, a 335% increase in comments, and a 25% increase in impressions.
Role: Strategist, Lead Copywriter, Video Shoot Coordinator, Training Webinar Producer THE PARTNERSHIP With Square making waves in the payment industry, PayCompass gaining an exclusive partnership was a massive deal. And we needed to give it the spotlight it deserved.PHASE ONE: ANNOUNCEMENT To announce the partnership, my team and I teed up a unique concept: a cooking show titled Three Square Meals, with the legendary (and fictional) Chef Jack.I sourced as many square props as I could within budget, and when shoot day came around, I coordinated everything on set. It's a silly announcement, but I made sure the caption gave it some more weight: "Everyone needs three square meals a day. And every business needs the right solution. That’s why Square has joined the PayCompass Toolbox. 🟨 ⬛ Starting today, PayCompass is an officially authorized reseller of Square. (We’re one of the only ISOs in the world that can say that!) If you're selling to retail, food & beverage, beauty, or services, Square might be your ticket to winning that account. Instant approval, HUGE name recognition. Just one more reason why we're the #AgentFirst ISO. Use this link to sign up for Square: https://lnkd.in/gnrQSUt3"PHASE TWO: TRAINING The next step was to ensure our agents could easily understand and sell Square, so I partnered with my Director of Training to produce and host "Square Bootcamp." This series of training sessions went on for two months, and we covered everything you need to know about Square: navigation, eCommerce, menus, you name it.I made sure training was on track, and apart from producing the show, I handled agent requests regarding Square. Catch me in the trailer below. THE RESULT The hard work was put in to drive the #AgentFirst mission, and 82% of PayCompass Agents engaged with at least one of our Square partnership resources. Of those, 26% enrolled in our Square Bootcamp and downloaded our Square collateral. Here's the kicker: those that did saw a 58% increase in their Square sales. And, within three months of becoming partners, we became one of the top five Square resellers in the nation.

Branding
Role: Project Manager, Lead Designer, Lead Strategist THE BRAND Crypto has been skyrocketing for quite some time, and people say it's the future. So when it came to branding a crypto investment firm, the founder of Unsupervised Capital put his vision in my hands and trusted that I could give the futuristic, yet retro aesthetic that speaks to the industry. I started by playing with shapes in Illustrator reminiscent of 8-bit animation, until the double half-moon in the design represented both a "C" and a "U". I also played around with stylized vapor wave imagery while I was crafting the logo, which heavily informed the overall aesthetic. The founder initially wanted black and white as the primary colors, but I threw in a neutral tone at his request after the logo design was finalized. Choosing Montserrat as the primary font was also a deliberate choice: I wanted the typography to be sleek, versatile, and on par with the visual elements. This project was by far one of my favorites, and watching it come to life was beyond rewarding. The Unsupervised Capital crew was blown away with the outcome, and I still do freelance work for them when I get the chance.
Role: Project Manager, Lead Designer, Lead Strategist THE BRAND JuiceFit is an incredibly established and beloved name in fitness here in Phoenix, and when I was brought onto this project, I wanted to give it the powerful and clean treatment it deserved. Though I needed to reflect its athletic nature, I also wanted to pose it as a serious and high-end brand. It's gone through many phases over the years, and I came in to simplify and strengthen its message. The motion in the logo represents its roots in fitness, and so does the rich red tone. I also wanted the imagery to represent the grit and diversity Dave (Juice) fosters in his gym. It's about community and results. This brand refresh is ongoing, and I am currently working with a developer to get a new site up and running.

Web Design
Role: Project Manager, Lead Designer, Lead Strategist THE PROJECT When it came to the website, the Unsupervised Capital team wanted it as sleek as possible while staying true to the brand that I built. To stay in line, I made a few simple motion graphics that went along with the chosen imagery to flow throughout the site. It's a bit mind-bending and futuristic, which is exactly the vibe they were going for. Most crypto investment firms keep it as simple as possible, so I wanted to make the site's navigation light and tight. I also built the blog page and coached the team on future postings. The highlight to me on Unsupervised Capital's website is definitely those motion graphics, which was an incredibly effective way of bringing their aesthetic to life.
Role: Project Manager, Lead Designer, Lead Strategist THE PROJECT Scottsdale Dental Aesthetics has a lot to offer, and from a design perspective, a lot to highlight. This website was quite the undertaking, and I worked closely with a developer to build a comprehensive and upscale site. Cosmetic dentistry is more of a luxury than routine cleanings, and that had to translate throughout the website's design. The imagery, the fonts, and the flow were key elements that really made it happen. I made the site's navigation menu as thoughtfully as possible, with clear headers so that prospects can easily find what they're looking for.The final result is a beautiful site that I'm proud of, and I believe it reflects the high-end nature of Scottsdale Dental Aesthetics brand.
